With two beautiful lakefront properties, a brand-new Fairvue Clubhouse opening soon, and exceptional dining outlets across the club, we are looking for a driven, creative, and hands-on Sous Chef who is passionate about food, leadership, and delivering memorable dining experiences. As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in shaping our culinary identity, supporting high-volume operations, and mentoring a talented team committed to excellence. What You’ll Do - Support the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine in daily kitchen operations across multiple outlets - Lead, train, and mentor culinary staff to ensure strong performance, consistency, and high morale - Maintain culinary standards and consistency in presentation, taste, and quality - Assist in menu development, specials, seasonal offerings, and banquet / event menus - Oversee food safety, sanitation, and compliance with all health guidelines - Ensure efficient kitchen organization, prep systems, inventory control, and ordering procedures - Collaborate with FOH teams to deliver seamless service and exceptional guest experiences - Help execute high-volume events, weddings, golf tournaments, and specialty dinners - Uphold the club’s core values : Service, Integrity, Accountability, Positivity & Hustle What We’re Looking For - Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Lead Line Cook in an upscale or high-volume kitchen - Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing a team - Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment - Creativity, professionalism, and a commitment to culinary excellence - A positive, energetic, team-first attitude - Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs What We Offer - Competitive salary based on experience - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k) - Paid Time Off - Paid meals - Employee discounts across the club - Opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly expanding private club - The chance to be part of a dynamic, collaborative culinary team About Grasslands Club Located in beautiful Gallatin, Tennessee, Grasslands Club offers two private championship golf courses, vibrant dining experiences, stunning event venues, and the highly anticipated new Fairvue Clubhouse opening soon.
