Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our leading clients. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in front-end and back-end development, experienced with database technologies, and knowledgeable in DevOps best practices. This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in the New York City Metropolitan area to accommodate occasional onsite collaboration if needed.

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable web applications and services. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.
Design and implement scalable back-end services using Python, Java, Ruby, or , with frameworks like Django, , or Rails.
Build and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs, and contribute to microservices architecture.
Work with both SQL (, Oracle PL / SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (, MongoDB) databases.
Collaborate with DevOps to support CI / CD pipelines, version control via Git, and containerization using Docker.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and performance optimization efforts.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical thinking in a collaborative team environment.
Take ownership of deliverables and proactively communicate status and blockers.

Required Skills & Experience :

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with hands-on expertise across front-end and back-end technologies.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.

Proficiency in one or more server-side languages : Python, Java, Ruby, or

Experience with server-side frameworks such as Django, , or Rails.

Solid understanding and hands-on experience with REST / SOAP APIs and microservices.

Strong database skills with SQL (Oracle PL / SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).

Familiarity with version control (Git) and DevOps practices (CI / CD pipelines, Docker).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated, accountable, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of automated testing tools and practices.
