The Advanced Practice Provider Urgent Care will conduct physical exams, develop diagnoses and treatment plans, provide direct patient care in an urgent care orthopedic setting, and perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, fracture reductions, injections, and aspirations. Additional duties include ordering and interpreting lab tests and imaging, educating patients on diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, accurately documenting care and compiling medical data, consulting with supervising physicians as needed, and delivering high-quality, hands-on orthopedic care to support patient mobility. Individuals selected for quick interviews will have an active, unencumbered NP / PA license in the state of Iowa and possess orthopedic experience.
