Engineering Job Description :

The role involves overseeing the engineering department’s annual planning, cost control, performance tracking, and documentation standardization. Responsibilities include managing trial and mass production processes, driving continuous improvement in injection molding, and leading training programs. The role also supports new project development, software implementation (e.g., MES systems), team management, and ensuring workplace safety, while coordinating with other departments and handling additional assignments from leadership.

Requirements / Responsibilities

Job Responsibility :

  • Preparation of the annual operational plan for the engineering department and cost

    • control.

  • Preparation of the annual work plan and work schedule for the engineering

    • department, as well as achieving performance indicators.

  • Revision, training, and implementation of the flowcharts, documents, forms, and

    • standardization files for the engineering department.

  • Achievement of deliveries for various trial production and mass production orders,

    • cost control, process control, and quality management.

  • Organizing training courses in injection molding technology, mold technology, and

    • total equipment maintenance for staff in the engineering department.

  • Driving "continuous improvement" initiatives in the injection molding plant to reduce

    • costs and increase efficiency.

  • Participating in the early planning phase of new projects, trial production

    • management, and assisting in the smooth development and mass production delivery

    of new projects.

  • Participating in the customization of software requirements and logic optimization for

    • the MES system and other software in the injection molding plant, and promoting the

    implementation of information technology software such as MES.

  • Organizing and managing personnel within the engineering department, as well as

    • maintaining and developing the talent pool.

  • Ensuring that workshop personnel adhere to safety standards during operations,

    • monitoring and enforcing safety operating procedures.

  • Providing support to parallel departments and handling other matters as assigned by

    • superiors.

    Job Requirements :

  • Graduated from vocational colleges (or other higher institutions) with a diploma
  • Experience in injection molding engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory

    • or higher-level position.

  • Proficient in operating injection molding machines, including horizontal machines, vertical

    • machines, and two-color machines, and familiar with ISO 14001 system-related

    requirements.

  • IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 Internal Auditor Certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, and knowledgeable in CAD and PROE drawing

    • software.

  • Has experience in workshop management, familiar with production work-flow, and

    • possesses strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Possesses excellent communication and coordination skills, with a strong team spirit.
