POSITION OVERVIEW : Community Outreach Navigator :

The Community Outreach Navigator supports Spectrum Medical Care Center’s mission to provide inclusive, affirming sexual health and primary care services. This role is responsible for providing HIV / STI / Hepatitis C testing and education, supporting linkage to care, and promoting prevention services including PrEP, PEP, and DoxyPEP. Outreach Navigators engage with diverse communities through Spectrum’s mobile testing unit, clinic-based services, social media outreach, and community events. They help reduce barriers to care, connect individuals to supportive services, and build awareness of Spectrum’s role in ending the HIV epidemic.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with 1 year of phlebotomy training / experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, health education, or Medical Assistant Certification.
