Structured Cabling Data Center Project Manager (Abilene)

This Texas-based leader in industrial networking and infrastructure services has an immediate full-time position in Abilene, TX for a Structured Cabling Data Center Project Manager.  This position requires working onsite Monday-Friday, 40+ hours per week.  This Project Manager will be responsible for providing management oversight for all phases of a data center construction project, including project planning, scheduling, task management, coordinating material and equipment, and ensuring that drawings and specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget as well as project completion / project closeout. This position requires daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities that must be completed in a timely manner.

Key Requirements :

• 3-5+ years of Structured Cabling Data Center Project Management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management and / or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• Experience and Knowledge of Data Center Buildouts and / or migrations.
• Proficient in schedule management and preparing test reports.
• Experience in Telecommunications is strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, database and computer aided design software, standard drafting tools, and surveying equipment (level and electronic distance measuring devices).
• Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to present ideas in a business and user-friendly language.
• Proven experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
