About NDCP

Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete and accurate driver schedule.
  • Dispatch fleet at distribution center and related hubs ensuring that all routes are staffed appropriately.
  • Track status of vehicles and equipment.
  • Respond to driver calls, assist with breakdowns and accidents.
  • Maintain accurate records on the movement of goods to store locations.
  • Works with supervisors to schedule drivers for next shift.
  • Reviews time cards and E-time and notifies supervisor of discrepancies.
  • Process PeopleNet trips from driver computers.
  • Ensures compliance with Department of Transportation Hours of Service. Tracks over / under hours for route drivers.
  • Creates various reports (weekly mileage, fuel, late truck, etc.).
  • Create Driver Route Bags.
  • Track delivery performance and advise stores and Member Services of any delays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 - 3 Years of transportation industry experience
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations is desired
  • Proficient computer knowledge (advanced preferred)
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Team Player
  • Flexible to varying work schedules
  • Class A CDL license required
