What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and / or site supervisors promptly. Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help to deter potential disruptions. Assist with access control by verifying identification and / or credentials as required by site-specific procedures. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and members of the public as needed while performing assigned duties. Complete required reports and logs accurately and in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements : A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
