What You'll Do

As a PTA, you'll support patient recovery and mobility while bringing compassion and energy to every session. Your key responsibilities include :

• Patient Care & Treatment
• Guide patients through exercises, stretches, and therapeutic interventions based on the Physical Therapist's plan
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and use of assistive devices
• Monitoring & Documentation
• Observe patient progress and report up to the supervising PT
• Accurately document treatments, notes, and follow regulatory requirements
• Patient & Family Education
• Teach patients and their families how to manage conditions at home
• Provide instruction on home exercise programs and daily care
• Administrative & Support Tasks
• Prepare and clean treatment areas and equipment
• Schedule appointments, handle clerical tasks, and answer patient inquiries
• Communicate with therapists and other healthcare staff to coordinate care

What You Bring

Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program

Active Michigan PTA license

Physical stamina and comfort assisting patients hands-on

A friendly, upbeat attitude and passion for helping others move, heal, and thrive
