We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to lead complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, and support the continued growth of the firm. This role will oversee compliance and advisory work across multiple entity types while providing leadership to staff and serving as a key resource to partners. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong communication skills and the ability to guide both clients and teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns across a range of entities (individual, partnership, corporate, trust, etc.)
Serve as a primary contact for clients and deliver proactive tax planning and advisory guidance
Identify and address tax issues; research and communicate findings
Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff and managers
Manage multiple engagements, workflows, and deadlines simultaneously
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and firm standards
Support business development, client expansion, and firm initiatives as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA required
8–10+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
Experience managing teams and reviewing complex returns
Strong technical knowledge across entity types and tax planning concepts
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
