WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Composite Fabrication Team, the Composite Layup Technician will work alongside team members to construct carbon fiber parts for an award-winning aircraft. This is agreatjob for you if you are looking for a career you can grow with.Other dutiesmay include :

  • Assist in the preparation of molds and forms
  • Mark and cut tape, woven material, honeycomb, adhesive and similar materials
  • Lay-up composite materials following directions and instructions
  • Vacuum bag parts for oven cure
  • Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
  • Other duties as assigned or required

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to work as part of a team to ensure meeting quality standards
  • High standards for following instructions, work quality and productivity
  • Some lifting may be required
  • Able to stand for the majority of a shift in addition to moving about the facility to support the work
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven individual
  • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Authorized to legally work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship now or in the future

  • Multiple shifts available :
  • Day Shift : Monday - Friday, 6 : 45 am to 3 : 15 pm $19.86 / hr.
  • Afternoon Shift : Monday - Thursday, 3 : 30 pm to 2 : 00 am $20.86 / hr. including shift differential
  • Two week paid training class is required : M-F 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm
  • No experience is required. Seriously, none!
