WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Composite Fabrication Team, the Composite Layup Technician will work alongside team members to construct carbon fiber parts for an award-winning aircraft. This is agreatjob for you if you are looking for a career you can grow with.Other dutiesmay include :
Assist in the preparation of molds and formsMark and cut tape, woven material, honeycomb, adhesive and similar materialsLay-up composite materials following directions and instructionsVacuum bag parts for oven cureMaintain work area in a clean and orderly conditionOther duties as assigned or requiredLEARN MORE HERE
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
High School Diploma or equivalentBasic computer skillsAble to work as part of a team to ensure meeting quality standardsHigh standards for following instructions, work quality and productivitySome lifting may be requiredAble to stand for the majority of a shift in addition to moving about the facility to support the workAble to work with minimal supervisionSelf-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven individualAble to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentAuthorized to legally work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship now or in the futureWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
Entry-level up to experienced aerospace manufacturing positionEntry-level positions provide a path for you to grow into an aerospace careerMultiple shifts available :Day Shift : Monday - Friday, 6 : 45 am to 3 : 15 pm $19.86 / hr.Afternoon Shift : Monday - Thursday, 3 : 30 pm to 2 : 00 am $20.86 / hr. including shift differentialTwo week paid training class is required : M-F 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pmNo experience is required.
