About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its commercial legal team. The successful candidate will be a key player in supporting the company's strategic sales growth in the Americas, acting as a trusted partner to the revenue team. This role involves leading complex SaaS and on-premises commercial negotiations, drafting, structuring, and negotiating customer contracts with major brands across various industries. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also be responsible for assessing legal and business risks, providing advice on a wide range of issues including privacy, security, open-source software, and intellectual property, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Applicants for this position should have a law degree and be a member in good standing of the California state bar, or eligible to be a registered in-house counsel in California. A minimum of 7 years of legal experience, with a background in both private practice and in-house, is required, preferably with a focus on technology companies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in negotiating and closing complex SaaS and software contracts, possess a collaborative and team-oriented approach, and demonstrate great judgment and the ability to build strong professional relationships. Working knowledge of intellectual property, data governance, and information security / privacy matters is essential, as is a commitment to high professional and personal standards, and inclusiveness.
