Full Time Press Operator

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in metal grinding, heat treatment, and forklift operation . This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Operate hydraulic and mechanical presses to shape or cut metal components.

Perform surface and cylindrical grinding to tight tolerances.

Conduct and monitor heat treatment processes according to specifications.

Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and finished parts throughout the facility.

Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.

Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.

Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.

Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications :

Proven experience as a press operator in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient in metal grinding and heat treatment processes.

Valid forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain).

Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
