Overview

Department : Home Health

Status : Full Time

Shift : Days

Administers personal care and related services in the home for the patient as assigned by the Case Manager or Hospice Manager.

Qualifications

Education : Must have a high school diploma or GED. Complete appropriate hours and pass test required for the position.

Experience : Six months experience working with people and an interest in working with people.

Certifications : Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide certification. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Required.

Preferred Experience : 2 years of experience in Home Health setting.

Preferred Certifications : Home Health Aide or Long-Term Care Aide Certification.

Physical Requirements : Position requires the ability to push, pull, and / or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
