What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts. Maintain clear and concise communication with team members and supervisors regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities. Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required. Support a secure environment by being visible and approachable to associates, visitors, and contractors within the logistics and distribution setting. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
