JOB TITLE :

Marketing Communications Intern

JOB PURPOSE :

The University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Physical Sciences marketing and communications intern will create visual and written content for marketing and communications activities by working with the University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Physical Sciences marketing and communications specialist and college staff faculty administrators and students. This content could be used for a variety of channels such as news releases publications websites and social media. This intern should be able to work independently but maintain active communications with our team while always conducting themselves in a professional manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Work collaboratively with UW College of Engineering and Physical Sciences marketing and communications specialist on the colleges content needs
• Assist with proofing / editing as requested
• Connect and interview college staff faculty administrators and students as needed for writing and social media assignments
• Apply feedback and edits from UW College of Engineering and Physical Sciences marketing and communications specialist to improve the final work
• Meet deadlines

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

High School diploma or equivalent

Current UW student
