The Opportunity

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing customer accounts receivables balances. You must be able to collect and summarize data from various sources, maintain customer accounts, and analyze data to track payments and improve customer collections. As the AR Analyst, you are also responsible for identifying and resolving discrepancies in customer payment records. You will work closely with the accounting team, sales, and operations to resolve billing issues and maintain strong client relationships. This role may require up to 10% travel for company meetings or training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor and review customer accounts receivable balances.

Resolve discrepancies between customer payments and invoices.

Handle customer inquiries regarding bills or payments.

Communicate with customers to resolve payments issues and obtain necessary documents.

Follow up with customers regarding non payments, delayed payments, and irregularities.

Update customer billing information with correct contact, name, phone, address / email, when appropriate.

Conduct research and work with operations and / or sales to identify and resolve customer accounts receivable issues.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to accounts receivable activities.

Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Experience with accounting software such as Microsoft Business Central.

Requirements : Minimum Requirements

Education : Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience : 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, with experience in collections preferred

Work Environment

This is a full-time, at-will position with typical business hours.

Work-from-home opportunities are available .

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (if applicable).

Frequent walking throughout the facility and between departments as part of daily operational tasks (if applicable).

Ability to lift and / or move up to 20-25 pounds.

Ability to navigate each department and the company’s facilities as needed.
