JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PRODUCT OWNER

Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for analytical problem-solving? We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our dynamic team at Orion180. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving product success by gathering detailed requirements, analyzing data, documenting processes, and assigning projects to developers. Additionally, you will perform user acceptance testing to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate the following competencies :

  • Collaborate Closely : Work closely with software development teams on current deliverables to ensure alignment and quality.
  • Gather Requirements : Engage with various stakeholders, including the executive team, to gather and clarify requirements effectively.
  • Document Requirements : Create detailed user stories and documentation for the development team, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.
  • Manage Backlog : Maintain and prioritize the team’s backlog to reflect the most critical tasks and projects.
  • Provide Updates : Deliver progress updates and demonstrations to stakeholders and executives to keep them informed about the project's status.
  • Support Development Team : Answer business-related questions from the development team to facilitate their work and understanding.
  • Training & Certification : Attend Product Owner training sessions and acquire certification to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Perform Other Duties : Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team and organization.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent insurance industry experience.
  • Experience : A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in relevant roles.
  • Influence : Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate closely to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Documentation Skills : Excellent documentation skills for creating clear and comprehensive reports.
  • Presentation Skills : Experience in creating detailed reports and delivering engaging presentations to various audiences.
  • Tech Proficiency : Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Commitment : A proven track record of following through on commitments and delivering results.
  • Organizational Skills : Excellent planning, managerial, and time management skills to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Project Leadership : A history of leading and supporting successful projects that drive business outcomes.
