Backend Web Developer

Position Description :

CGI is seeking a skilled Backend Web Developer (O&M Specialist) to join our team in the Washington, DC area. This role is essential for overseeing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities, ensuring the smooth functioning and sustainability of systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with development, engineering, architecture, testing, and Library teams to maintain and enhance system performance.

This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities :

• O&M Oversight : Manage and oversee Operations and Maintenance activities, ensuring systems are running efficiently and effectively.
• Collaboration : Work closely with development, engineering, architecture, testing, and Library teams to ensure seamless integration and system sustainability.
• Problem Solving : Identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
• Continuous Improvement : Implement best practices and strategies for continuous improvement in system operations and maintenance.
