About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President of Development to take on a pivotal leadership role in the expansion of its multifamily sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire development process, from site identification and acquisition to entitlement, design, and execution. This role demands a strategic and deal-oriented professional with a proven track record in multifamily development, particularly in the areas of site sourcing, deal structuring, and full-cycle project execution. The EVP will be expected to identify and evaluate land acquisition opportunities, lead negotiation and acquisition efforts, and ensure the alignment of all stakeholders throughout the development phases. A strong understanding of land acquisition, entitlement, and construction processes is essential, as is the ability to drive project execution with a focus on long-term value creation.

Applicants for the EVP of Development position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of progressive experience in multifamily development and established relationships within the multifamily development community, especially in the Southeast region. A Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, construction management, or a related field is required, with an MBA being preferred.
