Qualifying Questions :

Summary :

Seeking a Manufacturing Planner to support the USAF E-7 Production Engineering Program. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain manufacturing plans, work instructions, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to define and document as-built configurations. You’ll also contribute to supplier integration, tooling development, and resolution of manufacturing-related issues.

Responsibilities :

Develop manufacturing strategies and concepts aligned with program objectives

Create and maintain work instructions, illustrations, and BOMs

Conduct producibility assessments and provide input to design and manufacturing processes

Review and approve supplier data to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements

Define and manage tooling requirements throughout lifecycle

Draft and update procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements

Support delivery commitments through integrated work sequencing

Requirements :

Typically an Associate’s degree and 3+ years of related experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year of experience, or 5+ years of directly related work experience in lieu of a degree

Experience required – MESci Work Instructions or experience with Defense Programs (e.g., P-8, Tanker, VC-25B)

Experience with aerospace manufacturing and planning processes

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
