Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technology Designer to join our team. This role focuses on the design and coordination of low-voltage systems that support modern building infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in structured cabling, audiovisual systems, electronic safety and security, and other technology platforms essential to today's smart buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Design and document low-voltage systems including telecommunications, audiovisual, security, and paging systems
Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and system layouts using AutoCAD and Revit
Conduct site surveys and assessments to inform design decisions
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless integration of technology systems
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience in technology systems design within the AEC industry
Familiarity with BICSI, Infocomm, and other relevant standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and design software tools
Strong communication and coordination skills
Industry certifications such as BICSI RCDD or CTS-D are a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $200000.00 / yr.
