Positon : Network Engineer

Location : Santa Clara, CA

Duration : Contract

Job Description :

  • Hands On problem solving in an enterprise level network environment
  • Fulfill network related requests :
  • Configure and / or deploy switches, routers, firewalls
  • Design against standard architecture.
  • Perform analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems
  • Prepare and maintain up to date documentation detailing configuration of deployed solutions & generates network configurations
  • Plans and executes network upgrade and migration activity

Technical Expectation :

  • Experience and expertise in network operations and service optimization in highly available, network infrastructure solutions in a large-scale, multi-site, international environment. Some design experience is also a requirement.
  • Strong background in Networking (Layer 2 Ethernet switching / forwarding, Multicast, Layer 3 Switching / Routing / VxLAN) and Data Center virtualization
  • WAN circuits and Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, BGP, PIM Multicast)
  • Experience on the latest hardware and operating systems (IOS-XR, NX-OS, EOS, Junos, Arista and Mellanox, Cumulus)
  • Experience in inter-AS connectivity (eBGP, MPLS, eVPN, VRF)
  • Experience in Data Center fabrics and corresponding technologies like VxLAN, BGP EVPN
  • Hands on experience in using Arista Cloud Vision products like CVP, CVA and CVX
  • High Availability protocols and Global Server Load Balancing technologies
  • Next generation Firewalls( Palo alto), install, support and maintain the Palo Alto suite(PA-3XXX,5XXX,VM-100, M-100,M-500) of products.
  • The Engineer will be responsible for the development, implementation, Maintenance and enhancement of security infrastructure systems and equipment.
  • Understanding Cisco VPN ( Stateful firewalls, SSL, Splt tunnel and work experience in CISCO ASA / Firepower
  • Knowledge of network management, network availability and capacity management
  • Experience in Citrix NetScaler Load balancers all types of VServers and F5 (GTM)
  • Good knowledge on Capture pcap on Citrix NetScaler and analyze logs
  • Experience on SDWAN, DHCP, DNS & Linux
  • Experience / hands on with automation - Python / Salt stack
  • Professional networking certifications (., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) is plus.
