Medical Lab Scientist

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Lab Scientist to support our client's medical facility based in St Joseph, MI 49085. This is a 13 weeks assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location : St Joseph, MI 49085

Duration : 13 weeks contract

Shift : Full time Schedule : 8 : 00 PM-6 : 30 AM and weekends as needed and Part time role also available shift to be discussed at the time of interview

Payrate : $46-56 / hr. on w2 / Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Details :

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
• Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
