Operations Director, Fulfillment Center Operations
Outbound Operations : Pick, Pack, and Ship Coordinates with Senior Operations Managers to implement quality control processes that ensure the accuracy of each order handled by the fulfillment center. Oversees outbound operations across all shifts. Supports the development of fulfillment center best practices for product distribution in line with organizational standards. Oversees outbound activities for a nonsortable manual sortable fulfillment center.
Inbound Operations : Unload, Receive, Haul, and Stock. Reviews analysis provided by Senior Operations Managers and coordinates with ICQA teams to ensure necessary product inventory levels are maintained. Oversees inbound operations across all shifts. Supports the development of fulfillment center best practices for inventory receiving, unloading, and storage in line with organizational standards. Oversees inbound activities for a nonsortable manual sortable fulfillment center.
Performance Monitoring : Monitors performance across inbound and outbound operations across all shifts. Responsible for performance monitoring across all operations within a nonsortable manual sortable fulfillment center. Inbound / outbound performance monitoring includes establishing effective controls to achieve goals, standards, budgets, and key performance indicators to support Walmarts organizational strategy. Manages a profit and loss statement and delivers on performance and financial targets. Monitors performance dashboards and conducts ad hoc analyzes to evaluate the performance of the fulfillment center, provides feedback to Senior Operations Managers. Allocates resources and ensures appropriate staffing and workload levels to meet business demands. Develops fulfillment transportation and storage standards to ensure an organized and efficient storage environment.
Process Improvement : Reviews, analyzes, and provides process improvement feedback to Senior Operations Managers. Recommends and delivers training to associates on continuous improvement and performance enhancement activities for all fulfillment center operations. Drives continuous improvement and performance enhancement activities and oversees implementation of Lean strategies and processes across a nonsortable fulfillment center.
Compliance and Quality Management : Supports strategic leadership for an automated sortable fulfillment center to achieve key performance metrics and regulatory obligations and operational standards. Provides strategic leadership for a nonsortable manual sortable fulfillment center to achieve key performance metrics and all regulatory obligations and operational standards.
Collaboration : Collaborates with Senior Operations Managers as well as external teams for example Fulfillment Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Operations to ensure optimization of capacity and delivery management. Supports and collaborates with other functions at Walmart such as HR, Maintenance, and ICQA to achieve objectives.
People Development : Ensures associates receive learning and development opportunities for example training, mentoring. Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge, and work performance. Mentors Senior Operations Managers and less experienced associates. Provides overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs, developing, communicating, building support for, and implementing business strategies, plans, and practices. Analyzing costs and forecasts and incorporating them into business plans, determining and supporting resource requirements, evaluating operational processes, measuring outcomes to ensure desired results, identifying and capitalizing on improvement opportunities, promoting a customer environment, and demonstrating adaptability and sponsoring continuous learning. Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps, recruiting, selecting, and developing talent, supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning, and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent. Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices, developing consequences for violations or noncompliance, and supporting the Open Door Policy. Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals by sponsoring and leading key community outreach and involvement initiatives, engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives, and supporting associate efforts in these areas.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field and 5 years experience in supply chain operations or related field OR 7 years experience in supply chain operations or related field. 4 years supervisory experience.
