Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join our litigation team. This individual will be responsible for managing a full caseload of personal injury matters from inception through trial. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in litigation, excellent courtroom skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients. This role is best suited for a confident, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and can work both independently and collaboratively with a legal team.

Core Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, specifically motor vehicle accidents and products liability cases.

Develop case strategy and find plausible solutions to legal matters.

Attend hearings, depositions, and other court appearances.

Stay informed about any current legislation.

Building trustworthy relationships with clients and experts.

Handle all phases of litigation, from case evaluation and pre-suit strategy to discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial.

Prepare and argue motions, attend court hearings, and advocate in mediation or arbitration.

Lead trial preparation and serve as first or second chair at trial.

Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and support staff to ensure efficient case handling.

Minimum Requirements

Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in law-related field required.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Active bar license to practice law in California.

Experience

10 years of litigation experience with an emphasis on personal injury cases.

Experience with high volume mediations and settlements.

Trial experience (first or second chair) strongly preferred.

Exceptional oral advocacy, negotiation, and writing skills.

Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures.

Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and effectively.

Client-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience conducting mediations, arbitrations, or settlement conferences.

Plaintiff-side trial experience is a plus.
