Job Title : School Therapist (Pediatric and Special Needs Focus)

Location : State School, St. Louis, MO

(Located just south of St. Louis University, across from Tower Grove Park)

Employment Type : W2, Long-Term Contract, Minimum 1 Yr (Local Candidates Only)

Job Description :

State School, a residential institution serving approximately 45+ students aged 6-21 years, is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Therapist. This role involves providing therapeutic services to children and young adults, including those with special needs, during the academic year and summer programs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver therapeutic support tailored to the needs of children and young adults with varying developmental and emotional challenges.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and external professionals to create and implement effective therapy plans.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and adjustments to therapy plans.
• Actively participate in orientation and ongoing training to align with the school's mission and protocols.

Duration : Ongoing through the 2024-2025 school year and beyond.
