Talent Development Manager
This position calls for a candidate with experience identifying and implementing talent development programs that further organizational objectives and goals. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :
- Partnering with leadership to identify talent development needs
- Curating programs to match business needs
- Leading and supervising the Talent Development Team
- Evaluating training programs for effectiveness and modifying as necessary
- Reviewing and selecting appropriate external resources
- Supporting programs that aim to establish a foundation for succession planning
- Developing effective communication campaigns and training materials using various mediums
- Facilitating training programs
Ideal Background :
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university10+ years of relevant experience in Talent Development, Human Resources, Management, or a related field, preferably in an engineering or technical environmentStrong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and instruction methods, preferably as applicable to engineering industry roles and processesStrong knowledge of and ability to apply Learning Management Systems (LMS) best practicesProficient in coaching and mentoring, both in application and instructionAbility to give an influential and / or informative presentation and facilitate meetings / moderate in large groups to ensure smooth programAbility to successfully lead a team to meet objectives timely, accurately, and successfullyAbility to handle multiple tasks, re-prioritizing as necessary to ensure successful, accurate, and timely completionAbility to think critically and use sound judgement that aligns with organizational objectivesAbility to partner with Teammates of all levels to ensure professional and effective interactionsA commitment to professional, thorough, and effective communicationMust maintain a valid Driver's License and be able to travel as neededPhysical Requirements :
