THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL :

Develop 2D CAD templates and symbol databases for panel and schematic drafting from ground up, including electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics using AutoCAD
Design and develop the layout of control systems including all required PLC, PC, HMI, safety, and communication hardware.
Create electrical control cabinet design with all necessary documentation according to industry and customer requirements.
Select industrial control systems hardware for use with PLC control systems, drive sizing, component sizing, and control hardware specification and selection
Create Sequence of Operations, Timing Charts, Programs, Parameter Lists, Instructions
Develop defect free designs according to Safety and Environmental Regulations within time and budgetary guidelines.

THE CONTROLS SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL :

REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

Minimum 2 years experience as a Controls or Automation Engineer, all other qualifications may be gained concurrently with this requirement.

Minimum 2 years experience in on-site troubleshooting of PLC devices

Minimum 2 years experience in Automation programming / coordination between PLC devices

Minimum 2 years experience with a combination of the following PLC Brands : Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron

Minimum 2 years experience with Servo Motors (Yaskawa) or Industrial Servo Robots (Motoman, Sepro or Fanuc)

Experience working independently, as well as working in a team-orientated and fast-paced startup-like environment.

Obtain and Maintain a Valid Driver License

Ability to travel up to 50%
