About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing and relationship-driven community bank, is seeking a Controller (CPA required) to join its leadership team. This is a pivotal role offering the opportunity to guide financial operations, enhance reporting systems, and contribute to the continued growth and stability of a respected local institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions in compliance with GAAP, regulatory, and internal standards.
• Manage preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor internal controls, risk management, and compliance with banking regulations.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professional growth.
• Partner with executive leadership and auditors to maintain transparency and efficiency.
• Provide financial insights to support lending, investment, and operational strategies.
