CMM Programmer (Offline, PC-DMIS)

About the Role
Seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to create high-volume, offline inspection programs directly from CAD models— no hands-on CMM operation required . You’ll translate complex blueprints and GD&T into efficient, accurate PC-DMIS programs, collaborating with Quality and Engineering to optimize throughput and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Develop offline PC-DMIS programs from CAD for precision inspection.
Interpret GD&T and engineering drawings to define measurement strategies.
Optimize cycle time and accuracy; target 10+ programs per day in a high-volume setting.
Maintain program documentation, version control, and standardized templates / macros.
Partner with Engineering / Quality to troubleshoot issues and improve measurement methods.
Qualifications
4–20 years of CMM programming experience with PC-DMIS (offline focus).
Strong GD&T proficiency and blueprint reading skills.
Proven ability to deliver high program output with accuracy and consistency.
Solid understanding of metrology best practices, fixtures, and tolerance stackups.
Effective communicator; organized with strong documentation habits.
U.S. citizenship required.
