About the Role

The Company is seeking a business-oriented Associate General Counsel to join its legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support across various departments, with a focus on contracts, real estate, compliance, and employment matters. This role is pivotal in balancing legal risk with business objectives and requires the ability to offer legal guidance, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements, and ensure organizational compliance with laws and regulations. The Associate General Counsel will also be involved in managing disputes, overseeing claims, and coordinating with external legal counsel, as well as advising on employment law issues and safeguarding the company's intellectual property portfolio. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law. A minimum of 3 years of legal experience, with a strong background in corporate law, contracts, real estate, and regulatory compliance, is required. The ideal candidate will have expertise in commercial contracts, property law, employment law, and compliance frameworks, and be adept at communicating complex legal concepts, negotiating, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment. While experience in advertising, media, or real estate industries is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of independent decision-making and who can work closely with senior leadership to ensure legal strategies are practical and aligned with business goals.
