What you'll be doing day to day

Join IKEA during an exciting growth phase! Our goal is to bring IKEA closer to our customers through physical locations called Customer Meeting Points (CMPs), which include a pickup hub, a furniture showroom with design services, and a home accessories market hall, varying by location.

As a Retail Communication & Interior Design Co-worker, you will :

• Apply home furnishing expertise to create inspiring, functional, and commercial solutions that reflect IKEA's brand across all media, including room settings, vignettes, and sales areas.
• Maintain awareness of the showroom matrix to ensure a diverse mix of styles, living situations, and price points, creating a dynamic visual environment.
• Use visual merchandising skills to enhance IKEA's identity through impactful store layouts and vibrant range presentations.
• Drive business growth by executing the store action plan and collaborating across departments for long-term success.
• Use local insights to create inspiring, affordable presentations that reflect diverse styles and exceed customer expectations.
• Prioritize visitor experience by ensuring safety, minimizing disruption, and maintaining visual impact on the shop floor.
• Follow routines and collaborate across functions, acting swiftly to seize commercial opportunities while considering financial impacts.
• Ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-consciousness in range presentations, adhering to US-adapted guidelines, global tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to a strong IKEA culture that embraces diversity among co-workers and customers.
