Job Description
The Security Officer provides for the safety and security of McMurry University students faculty staff visitors and property. This role ensures a safe campus environment by conducting patrols responding to emergencies enforcing campus regulations and supporting the university community with professionalism and integrity.
Physical Demands
Shift work- nights and weekends. (4pm to midnight or Midnight to 8am) Walking Sitting Standing Climbing
Required Qualifications
High School diploma. Some previous experience and knowledge of Public Safety and Security Customer and Personal Service and Federal State & Local laws. Must be familiar with computers and able use two way radios for communication across campus.
Preferred Qualifications
Some college preferred with two (2) years previous security officer experience in a university setting.
