Schedule : MondayFriday, 8 : 30 AM5 : 00 PM OR 9 : 00 AM5 : 30 PM

Pay Rate : $20 / hr

Position Overview

We are urgently seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator to support daily shipping, receiving, picking, and packing operations. This is a fast-paced temporary position requiring strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow safety proceduresespecially when working with chemical materials.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping, Picking & Packing

Pack items for shipment, ensuring all chemical details match order documentation (catalog number, lot number, unit size, weights, special instructions).

Follow proper packing procedures while complying with hazardous materials guidelines.

Apply all required hazmat labels and markings.

Pull materials accurately and neatly from stock areas for customer orders.

Stage completed orders and finished boxes in designated areas.

Receiving & Inventory

Process inbound shipments by unpacking and restocking materials.

Perform shelf maintenance and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.

Keep packing materials organized and stored safely.

Use SAP to inventory, order, receive, and store materials.

General Warehouse Duties

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Remove debris and keep stock areas tidy.

Use RF scanners, pallet jacks, selecting carts, tape machines, and basic cutting tools.

Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

Critical Skills & Qualifications

Picking and packing experience REQUIRED

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Comfortable operating RF scanners and general warehouse equipment.

Basic computer skills including use of PCs and printers.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.

Reliable attendance and ability to adhere to a set schedule.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and twist for long periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; more than 50 lbs with assistance.

Regular use of phones, computers, and standard office equipment.

Ability to visually inspect materials and read labels / monitors.

Work Environment & Safety

Role requires PPE when exposed to chemicals.

No forklift, respirator, hearing test, or physical exam required.
