PRN Experiential Education Instructor

Position : Pro Re Nata (PRN) Experiential Education (EX-ED) Instructor

Classification : Part-time / As Needed

Reports to : Associate Dean of Pre-Hospital Education

Location : Bozeman, MT

Pay : Depends on Experience (DOE)

About you and the role :

As a PRN EX-ED Instructor, you will be a highly motivated and experienced Emergency Care Provider (ECP) who has at least five (5) years of experience in lecturing. You should be currently licensed as a ECP, experience navigating the arena of medical accreditation, and be able to articulate expectations to students while taking direction from senior instructors.

Work Schedule : Part-time as needed

Daytime, nighttime, and weekend availability required

What you will do :

Core Responsibilities

• Skills Instruction

Setup skills stations, proctor, and cleanup for initial courses and refreshers.

Prepare prior to arrival at work to have the most accurate information

Ensure current medical accuracy of all lesson plans.

Physical Requirements :

Frequently : This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, and bending, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity for typing.

Occasionally : Must be able to carry and lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.

Occasionally : Analyzing, judgment.

Frequently : Memorization, perception / computation, problem solving, simple and complex math skills, reasoning. Must be able to speak clearly in small group settings.

Frequently : Repetitive tasks, high pressure.

Equipment Operated :

Constantly : Computer, cell phone, presentation equipment, and other electronic devices

Frequently :   Operate NMC, and other vehicles
