Electronics Technician

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Electronics Technician for an onsite contract opening in Killeen, TX.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Candidate must have at least 1 year of experience performing electrical rework / repair / soldering of cable harnessing.
• Candidate must have at least 1 year of electrical wiring experience.
• Candidate must have at least 1 year of circuit card assembly experience.
• High School diploma, or equivalent experience / combined education, with additional technical training sufficient to perform preventive and demand maintenance tasks.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirements
• Ability to understand policies and procedures for the control of Government property
• Ability to work with hazardous materials
• Ability to mix and weigh chemicals
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.

Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and / or field locations.

Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.

Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.

Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.

Maintains effective customer communications and relations.

May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
