Cash Posting Specialist
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cash Posting Specialist to support our healthcare operations onsite in Wichita, KS. This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting revenue cycle functions.
Location : Wichita, KS (Onsite Required) EMR systems : Meditech, Cerner Job Type : Temp (6 month project opportunity for extension) Pay Range : $20-23 per hour Flexible Start Time : 7 : 00 AM 8 : 00 AM ET
Key Responsibilities
- Open and process onsite payer correspondence.
- Post transactions within host systems such as Starr, Cerner, and Meditech
- Process payer lockbox transactions
- Work exception queues and resolve discrepancies
- Handle refunds, overpayments, and recharge checks
- Index, batch, and physically manage mailed documents
- Contribute to updating and developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
