Inside Sales Representative

Our client, a renowned organization in the construction and building materials industry, is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Representative. They offer a range of products and services, including Decking, Engineered Wood, Fasteners / Connectors, Fencing, Railing, Siding, and Timbers. The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in receiving and processing orders, providing product information and pricing, and assisting customers with their needs. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and writing orders from customers over the phone, providing pricing, product, and delivery information.
• Servicing customers at the walk-in counter who may need information or product.
• Fielding phone and in-person inquiries providing pricing / quotes from established price books / lists and product information.
• Coordinating orders with yard personnel.
• Assisting customers with problems.
• Communicating order information and status to appropriate Account Managers for their customers.
• Participating in physical inventories.
• Maintaining ongoing product knowledge.
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned by your supervisor and being flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment.
