Jafra is looking for a talented Web Designer to join our team. This position is full-time, remote, Monday-Friday. The Web Designer is responsible for designing and maintaining email designs and web-based projects. This role requires interacting with and implementing UI / UX best practices and principles. The Junior Web Designer will work closely with the communications & creative team as well as other departments at Jafra to ensure goals are achieved.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Create web design mock-ups via Figma for WordPress and Shopify.
  • Design and build websites on WordPress and Shopify, and develop Omnisend email templates.
  • Design and build landing pages for various marketing efforts within the CMS.
  • Test and improve existing websites' design and functionality (UI / UX / Responsiveness).
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets and requests related to WordPress and Shopify.
  • Work with Project Owners to identify requirements and project goals.
  • Test and verify communication and submission forms with team members.
  • Participate in meetings with clients, including creative meetings, design reviews, demos, and end-user training.
  • Integrate third-party applications into websites based on client needs (e.g., Omnisend, Mailchimp, HubSpot).
  • Collaborate in a team setting and work independently when needed.
  • Maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines consistently.

All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for web and email design with an interest in marketing applications.
  • Good judgment in problem-solving and proactive in identifying and proposing solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, handling solo and group projects.
  • UX / UI minded.
  • Eager to learn and grow professionally.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, technical environment.

    • Experience :

  • 1-2 years of experience designing, building, and managing WordPress and / or Shopify websites, with knowledge of best practices.
  • Experience with Elementor or similar page builders.
  • Proficiency in WordPress CMS, Figma, Adobe Suite.
  • Experience with HTML / CSS editing.
  • Shopify experience preferred.
  • Strong design skills and ability to follow branding guidelines.
  • Understanding of UI and UX principles.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual ability is a plus.
  • Experience working under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across departments.
  • Attention to detail and deadline management skills.
  • Must reside in Dallas, TX.
