The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for a mechanically inclined Shop Technician (Heavy Equipment or Automotive Mechanic) to join our team in Garland, Texas . As the Shop Technician, you will be responsible for completing a variety of heavy equipment repair tasks required by our loyal customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As the Shop Technician your key responsibilities will include :

• Performing mechanical maintenance on a variety of material handling equipment and machinery
• Diagnosing and completing equipment repairs in a timely manner, providing a variety of repair options that best meet customer needs
• Tracking parts for ongoing service jobs
• Completing work order forms
• Communicating with the Shop Coordinator, Shop Lead, Service Manager, and Technical Support Center regarding service jobs and repair needs
• Proactively identifying maintenance and repair opportunities for equipment
• Following established warranty processes

This is an onsite role based in Garland, Texas .

The base pay range for this role is : $27.00 to $33.00 per hour, depending on experience.
