About The Position

Job Title : IR / Vascular Technologist

Profession : Interventional Radiology

Specialty : IR / Vascular Tech

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 10 Hours Days, Monday to Friday

Hours per Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM

Experience : 2 years of IR experience

License : Required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have :

• 2 years of IR experience
• Specific experience depending on assignments
• Experience with EMR / Equipment : Merge, Cerner

Description :

Prepare procedure suites and ensure radiation safety setups.

Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and hemodynamics monitoring.

Pull supplies and set up the sterile table.

Scrub in and assist physicians with procedures, including device exchange and guidewire manipulation.

Perform catheter placements, balloon and stent deployment, and manage radiation dose and imaging angles.

Clean, restock, and ensure room turnover post-procedures.

Support common diagnoses and types of patients including, but not limited to, port placements, liver biopsies, IVC placements, and vascular procedures.

Participate in weeknight and weekend on-call rotations.

Respond to call within a 30-minute timeframe.

Follow department-specific dress code and guidelines.

Participate in a comprehensive orientation and training process.

Collaboration with team leads for scheduling and staffing needs.

Flexible to floating to hybrid vascular cases if required.
