Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist plays a key role in supporting ZEVAC’s manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate tracking, storage, and flow of raw materials. This position is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating logistics, and supporting production efficiency through effective material management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitoring and managing inventory levels of raw materials, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials to production
- Maintaining accurate inventory records within the inventory management system (Acumatica preferred)
- Conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure alignment between physical stock and system data
- Analyzing usage trends to forecast material needs and prevent shortages or overstock situations
- Collaborating with procurement and production teams to plan and replenish non-stock materials
- Managing the Fastenal bin program for R1 and ensuring timely restocking
- Coordinating with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and proper documentation
- Managing outgoing shipments (domestic and international), including preparation of BOLs, documentation packages, and shipment photos
- Performing local pickups and deliveries of parts as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, adjustments, transfers, MTRs, and consumption
- Preparing inventory reports for management review, including turnover rates and key metrics
- Identifying and recommending process improvements in inventory control and material handling
- Cross-collaboration with the Quality inspector to inspect incoming parts on occasion
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management team with professionalism

High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred2–4 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environmentExperience with raw material inventory in a production setting is highly desirablePhysical Requirements :
Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 pounds as neededWillingness to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and conditionsAbility to traverse the warehouse and access storage areas, including stretching, squatting, and reaching
