As a Lead Software Engineer specializing in AI, you will be instrumental in crafting intelligent systems that drive next-generation solutions in legal, tax, risk, and compliance areas.

Your Role :

In this position, you will team up with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to design and implement AI-powered solutions.

Create Advanced AI Systems :

  • Design and deploy sophisticated AI systems, including multi-component pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and tailored AI agents with multi-step reasoning.
  • Integrate AI models into production environments through robust APIs and scalable data pipelines.
  • Customize AI models and methodologies for specialized domains to enhance expert systems in legal, tax, and compliance.

Drive Innovation :

  • Research and prototype leading-edge AI techniques to address unique business challenges.
  • Lead proof-of-concept projects for groundbreaking AI-driven features.
  • Keep abreast of the latest AI research and technological advancements.

    • Provide Technical Guidance :

  • Translate functional requirements into scalable, technical specifications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions.
  • Contribute to MLOps and LLMOps practices both in design and execution.
  • Act as a thought leader, sharing knowledge in company-wide forums and representing the organization in technology innovation.

    • Ensure Quality & Operations :

  • Establish comprehensive testing frameworks and monitoring systems for AI model evaluation.
  • Champion ethical AI principles and uphold security standards.
  • Perform systems analysis to recommend enhancements for operational efficacy.

    • Collaborate Across Teams :

  • Engage closely with AI researchers, engineers, designers, and product teams to convert AI capabilities into practical applications.
  • Optimize AI system performance considering key metrics such as latency and resource usage.
  • Support the enhancement of application features through AI capabilities.

    • About You :

    You may be the ideal candidate for the Lead Software Engineer - AI Solutions position if you possess :

    Required Skills and Experience :

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years in software engineering, with at least 2 years dedicated to AI / ML.
  • Proficient in Python and experienced with AI / ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning principles, evaluation techniques, and system architecture.
  • Knowledgeable in MLOps and the complete lifecycle of AI-integrated software applications.
  • Experience embedding AI models in production using APIs and data streams.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and autonomy in fast-paced settings.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative experience in cross-functional teams.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with AI-based systems, agent architectures, or APIs from entities like OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, or search-driven AI.
  • Domain knowledge in legal, tax, or accounting sectors.
  • A portfolio showcasing creative projects that leverage LLMs.
