job_description.job_card.job_descriptionClinical Support : Make rounds to ensure residents are receiving care as outlined in their care plans, and help address any concerns in real-time. Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, assist in meetings, and ensure that medical orders are communicated and implemented promptly. Leadership : Support your team by delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure a high standard of care. Staff Development : Help identify educational needs for the team, participate in training, and ensure staff adherence to policies and procedures. Quality Care : Monitor and assist in resident care tasks, from medication administration to daily activities, ensuring a comfortable and therapeutic environment. On-Call Responsibilities : Serve in the on-call pool as needed and be a role model for punctuality and professionalism. Licensing : A current NYS LPN License is required. Flexibility : Must be able to work days and every other weekend (2 weekend shifts per month). Experience : Previous experience in long-term care or a similar environment is a plus, but a passion for patient care and willingness to learn is key. Team Player : Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Professionalism : A commitment to maintaining confidentiality (HIPAA) and adhering to safety procedures.
