Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant with BMO- Basic X-Ray Machine Operator at our fast-paced Premier Urgent Care in Melbourne, FL!  This position is a combination of Medical Assisting duties as well as performing basic x-ray imaging. Must have current X-Ray Florida Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform Physician ordered X-Rays
• Obtain patient vitals, preparing patient and exam room for treatment
• Assist providers with preparing for minor procedures, minor surgeries, and physicals
• Perform non-intravenous injections, apply splints and dressings
• Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
• Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
• Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment
