Overview
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will lead the development and execution of engineering projects. Come join our team and help us design complex systems, uphold regulatory requirements, and problem solve unique challenges. This role can be located in one of the following locations :

- Dallas, TX

Responsibilities
This role involves managing budgets, schedules, scope, and quality to ensure project success with minimal oversight. You’ll design and prepare comprehensive engineering packages, including drawings, calculations, and specifications, while applying technical principles and adhering to industry codes and standards.
Project Management : Own project budgets, scopes, schedules, and quality, while guiding team members to ensure successful, high-quality outcomesDesign and Technical Expertise : Develop detailed engineering design packages, drawings, specifications, and evaluations tailored to client needs, applying innovative and practical solutionsStandards and Compliance : Ensure all designs and deliverables align with industry codes, standards, and regulationsCollaboration and Communication : Work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and foster strong relationships with colleagues and client engineers to achieve project goalsGrowth and Field Support : Embrace opportunities to learn new tools and provide hands-on expertise during field installations, system checkouts, and start-up activitiesQualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with generally at least 3+ years of design experiencePower system design experience preferredStrong skills in writing, presentation and communicationProficient in performing electrical calculationsAble to provide informed recommendation based on expertiseProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteProven ability as an individual contributor and team memberPhysically able to visit client sites (including stairs or ladders)Open to travel up to 20% of the timePreferred Qualifications / Skills
PE license highly preferred; EIT preferredRenewables experience is a plusSubstation DesignProtection & Control DesignLI-KM1
