Job Responsibilities.
Spearhead consistent application of quality educational components.
Coach academy leadership in quality lens.
Provide targeted coaching to academy teachers in all aspects of early learning systems, policies / procedures and tools with the goal of supporting all children to achieve school readiness goals, including but not limited to effective practices such as :
quality assessments (i.e. CLASS and Environment Rating Scale).
health, safety, and compliance.
learning environments.
curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
professional growth and collaboration.
Complies with best practices within the industry.
Communicates quality status and corrections with field leaders.
Guides academy in ERS and Contract Program visit preparation.
Contributes to the academy’s educational environment and programming including :
Reviews, observes, assesses and provides feedback regarding classroom educational environments and planned experiences for children.
Supports teachers in the reflection of formal and informal curricular, environmental, and child assessments.
Collaborates with the team to develop strategies for parent engagement to improve child outcomes.
Understands the child orientation to enhance appropriate learning environment that includes room preparation, greeting children, child engagement, cooperative learning, and addressing the learners’ social, emotional and comfort needs.
Supports academy leadership and teachers through process of higher education such as the CDA and TEACH programs, walkthrough, and learning centers.
In conjunction with academy leadership, reviews compliance to observations and assessments; tracks data to support successful outcome.
Disseminates educational documents and applicable resources when necessary
Review and assist with an appropriate learning environment that includes room preparation, greeting / engaging children and identifying learner’s social, emotional and comfort needs.
Evaluate lesson plans and activities.
Any other duties as assigned by manager.
