Job Title : Aerospace QA Inspector

Job Description

The primary role of the Aerospace QA Inspector is to inspect CNC machined parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with drawing requirements. Typical aspects to be verified include dimensions, surface finish, hardness, electrical conductivity, part marking, and appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspection of CNC parts and assemblies using manufacturing orders, part lists, drawings, specifications, and precision measuring instruments, including electronic devices.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures to conduct inspections.
• Reject and document nonconforming parts and materials.
• Document work manually and enter data into computers.
• Perform First Article inspections and generate reports.
• Conduct hardness and conductivity testing.
• Collaborate with teams to address corrective and preventive actions.

Work Environment

Work in a clean machine shop located in the Sumner / Puyallup area with a growing team of around 46 employees. Enjoy a work schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, from either 5 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm or 6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Puyallup, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00 / hr.
