Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Integrative Medicine

Assists practitioner in performance of procedures, telephone prescription orders / refills, maintaining patient record and relaying test results. Provides safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.

The Heartspring Wellness Center offers services to help clients achieve their best health in mind, body and spirit. Services include integrative primary care, integrative medicine consultations, naturopathic medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMT), acupuncture, nutrition counseling and classes, chronic disease management, integrative cancer support services, massage therapy, movement therapy, mind-body medicine, stress and symptom reduction, biofeedback and imagery for pain reduction and better living.

• EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

Current unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure required.

• Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Lab / EKG experience preferred.

Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and / or communicating with patients and caregivers. Possess personal sensitivity to the needs and experiences of others and a non-judgmental attitude towards persons of differing standards, values, lifestyles, and ages.
